Our inner kingdom is like a house and a garden: we build its foundation, walls, and windows, while roots grow beneath the surface. Every new choice is a seed. Some grow into enchanting flowers and fruit; others become habits that spread through the garden and affect the rest of the kingdom. I explore good and bad magic as a way to understand temptation, agency, consequences, and balance—including how substances, addictions, or even makeup can offer something we’re seeking while carrying risks. The goal is to look at what a habit has been growing into without shame, and to consider what we want to nurture next. When something keeps growing in a painful way, we may need to follow it into the root labyrinth instead of simply cutting it off. There may be trauma knots or tangled family roots beneath the surface. Going down deep can feel frightening, but even at rock bottom there may be a hidden root of wisdom or beauty. When pulling at a knot only makes it tighter, we can pause, make art, seek support, pray, and ask what Jesus would do. Pain and art can become a clue that helps us find our way through. I help people exploring mental health, faith, painful memories, family patterns, or habits they want to change. My teaching offers a compassionate, creative way to understand what has taken root, how it affects the inner kingdom, and how to find a hopeful next step. I believe you are worthy before you transform, and that you can tend your inner garden one honest choice at a time. My work is educational and reflective, not clinical treatment or diagnosis.
